Spring at Work

It’s easy to add spring colors to your weekend wardrobe but adding spring colors to your work wardrobe can be tricky. You have to mix the right colors and make sure the spring colors aren’t overpowering your outfit. Below is an outfit I threw together with a perfect spring skirt I bought last year. I’m loving this combination of blue and neon peach.

Mint and Dots

This skirt instantly caught my eye with the playful pattern and cute silhouette. I’m obsessed with mint, as most of you know, so I thought this mint sweater from J.Crew Factory was perfect. Topped it off with my J.Crew Factory necklace and the outfit was complete. This outfit is perfect for work or a night out.

Blue and Mint Stripes

I saw this sweater on the J.Crew Factory website and knew immediately that I had to have it. After I got it, I immediately knew it would look good with these sky blue skinnies. I had been eyeing these skinnies since a good friend of mine bought them but was waiting for the right sale. They went on sale for 20% off and I had a 20% off coupon so I had to buy them. I am so glad I did. This outfit is so fun and cute.

Layering with the Portofino Top

Sorry it has been a few days since I posted anything, my son has been having trouble sleeping and it is really starting to effect me. Anyways, below is an outfit I threw together while playing with layering clothing. I have layered button down shirts before but I thought layering my portofino shirt from express would be a fun twist to layering. I really like how this outfit turned out, the portofino shirt is so thin that it is almost seamless under my cardigan. I think I’ve found another reason to love this top!

Work Outfit – Polka Dots

I got this skirt recently from a haul at Jcrew Outlet. I wanted to put together a girly outfit for work that’s something anyone could wear. I know a lot of people won’t wear all the colors I do so I think this is a nice option for those afraid of too much color.

My Birthday and a JCrew Outlet Haul

Today is my birthday and to celebrate I took a shopping trip yesterday to the Outlet Stores in Destin Florida. Me and my Mom had a good time and found lots of things we wanted to purchase. I managed to hang on to my money, until I stopped into the JCrew Outlet. This was my first experience there and it was AMAZBALLS! I spent a total of $250 and got 3 tops and 3 bottoms. Not too bad for JCrew. I also found there is a JCrew Factory store online…. dangerous I know!!! I have linked all the clothes I bought to the items on their site.
